Geoenvironmental Challenges Summer 2013 Alumnus to Present at 2016 Ocean Sciences Meeting

While working with mentors Beng Guat Ooi and Ngee Sing Chong at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Western Carolina University undergraduate Joel Bostic encountered a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GCMS) for the first time.  Now Joel is a Marine Science Program master’s student at the University of South Carolina.  Check out his research into the Deepwater Horizon oil spill at the 2016 Ocean Sciences meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana: https://agu.confex.com/agu/os16/preliminaryview.cgi/Paper92113.html .
